My new blog, Purple Hippies, will focus on sharing the recorded music of Deep Purple and other artists within the Deep Purple family (e.g. Rainbow, solo projects of the members of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Whitesnake). All of this music are the ‘unofficial recordings’ — mostly live recordings which have not been officially released by the band(s) themselves. This means bootlegs, recordings by tapers at concerts, and ‘collectors discs’.
