FYI: In spectral view, when zoomed in to about 2 seconds, the audience portion shows the ‘lego bricks’ typical for either lossy lineage or crude denoising/declipping – the latter is more likely in this case I think because all the available digital copies are vinyl-sourced. The FM portion looks different but even more problematic – I suspect lossy lineage, but again denoising/declipping might be what happened as well, although it must have been a different setting or tool from the one they used for the audience source.

      1. It’s the very least I can do. Always feel free to ask if you’re not sure about the origin of a show, or if you’re looking for a truly lossless copy of a recording you find suspicious.
