Just checked. Lossy, sadly. This is one of those $10 CD-R sets that gets used as a “bonus” to other bootlegs, so not surprising… Traders Little Helper gives one hope that it might be minidisc-sourced, but the spectrals are clear: it is lossy.
MiniDisc uses a lossy format. I am pretty sure that only experts (if anyone) can deduct from viewing the spectrum whether a recording is MiniDisc- or MP3- (or WMA, OGG, MP2…) sourced. I believe the only reason why lossless trackers like Dime allow MiniDisc masters is because the lossy format used on MiniDiscs does not exist on any device (PC, MAC…) other than the MD player itself.
Nice! The Sabbath Paris bootleg looks interesting. 🙂
Spotlight Night in Chicago! nice!
Did you check it for lossless?

Thanks for notice! A lossy sourced CDR was in circulation for a decade or more. It would be a nice surprise to get true lossless…

I wonder how many times some concerts are reissued, specially The end and birmingham hope they are new remastered and beefed up !
