Purple Hippies is a blog which focuses on sharing the live music of Deep Purple and other artists within the Deep Purple family (e.g. Rainbow, solo projects of the members of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Whitesnake). All music shared here are ‘unofficial recordings’ — live recordings which have not been officially released by the band(s) themselves. This means bootlegs, recordings by tapers at concerts, and ‘collectors discs’.
